- Ask if you can use their triage system (e.g., private GP or physio) to bypass your NHS GP.
- Time-saving tip: If you think you might need a procedure like a steroid injection, ask for pre-authorisation for it at the same time. This can save a lot of time during your consultation.

This code is your insurer's 'green light' and is the most important step.
As a 'fee assured' surgeon, my fees are aligned with all major insurers, helping you avoid unexpected shortfalls.

Bypass referrals and waiting lists completely. You do not need a referral from a GP.

A Note on Billing & Your Policy Excess
It's normal to receive an invoice for your policy excess from my office or the hospital sometime after your treatment. This is the amount you agree to pay towards a claim and is a standard part of the insurance process.
